Portraying Santa for his friends began in the late 70's. Many of Dave's childhood and High School friend's children grew up meeting Santa Dave when he visited their homes each Christmas.

In 1983 Dave began a standup comedy career that saw him travel the world spending 35-40 weeks a year on the road playing clubs, theaters and corporate shows.

Dave's Television work includes local stations, ESPN, ESPN2 and Showtime.

For 12 years he was on the Bob and Tom Show, for 14 years he hosted his own talk show and for 18 years he was on the world wide IMS Radio Network.
